Registered nurse · Dublin, Ireland

Nurse by profession. Developer by passion. Teacher by calling.

I'm Dhanya Vidyadharan Thilakam. I care for patients in Dublin, build software for companies in my own time, and help nurses around the world pass the OET through Nurseveda.com.

About Dhanya

Two careers that learned from each other

Most people choose between caring for others and building things. Dhanya Vidyadharan Thilakam never accepted that choice. She is a registered nurse working in Dublin, and she is also a software developer whose code has run inside products for several companies.

Nursing is her profession. Programming is her passion, the thing she does because she cannot help it. She follows the newest programming languages closely, and people who work with her describe the same quality in both worlds: she stays calm, breaks a problem into small checks, and does not stop until it is safe.

That habit of mind made her a natural teacher. Nurses who arrive in Ireland and other English-speaking countries need to prove their clinical English in the OET. Dhanya coaches those candidates, and as one of the CEOs of Nurseveda.com she helps run the platform that was recognised in 2025 as one of the best teaching websites.

She does not teach the test as a trick. She teaches it as what it is: a rehearsal of the conversations and handovers a nurse will have on day one of the job.
